Serving Port Arthur, Beaumont, Orange, and the surrounding areas
Family Owned Since 1949
During 1975, Bud’s daughter Diane began working at Alamo Glass. She trained with Mr. McCormick, her grandfather, and father. In the early 80’s, Bud’s son, Joe, began working at the glass shop too, learning the business alongside his dad. As you can see, this company was and still is a family-owned business. Proudly founded by a family and run by a family.
Sadly, in December 1983, Bud unexpectedly passed away. Diane and Joe continued to run the business, with their mother, Freddie, coming on board too. Freddie retired in the year 2000 after an illness and passed away in 2011.
Fast forward to today, Joe Broussard along with Diane Morua continue running the family glass business. Joe’s son, Logan, is now working with them. Four generations strong, we take pride in our work. We have been proudly serving our community since 1949 with dependable, quality products and workmanship. We hope to continue this journey for many more years to come.

Alamo Glass of Port Arthur Inc was founded in 1949. Our first location was at 1547 Proctor Street in the thriving downtown area of Port Arthur, Texas.
Our founder, Joe McCormick, once worked for the railroad, loading and unloading boxcars. He struck up an interest in the glass industry after seeing loads of laminated glass going to Port Arthur for the booming refineries. He started out with just a few sheets of laminated glass, a glass cutter, a carpeted table, and high ambition. The business took off and soon he had several employees and began working in all of the refineries. He also began auto glass replacement services. In those days, all of the auto glass were flat and cut by hand.
As the business grew, Joe's nephew, whom he raised as his son, James (Bud) Broussard, began working for him after returning from serving in the Navy during the Korean War. Bud learned the business and in 1975, bought the business from Mr. McCormick. Joe retired, but kept in touch as a consultant.
